DC 47 President Fred Wright on the death of Jerry Mondesire

I was saddened to hear this weekend of the death of Jerry Mondesire, 65. Jerry was a friend to organized labor. He was a former Philadelphia Inquirer reporter and former President of the Philadelphia and PA NAACP. He was the publisher of the Philadelphia Sunday Sun and hosted a weekend public affairs program on WDAS-FM.
Jerry was a real political insider and he addressed many issues impacting the African American community. We send our condolences to his family and fiancee Catherine Hicks.
