Kelley Robinson Lindsay is a Social Work Supervisor in the Alternatives & Special Detention Program. Kelley has been with the city in the prison system for eight years. She has been a member of unions for 35 years and formerly was a member of District 1199C. Kelley is a Delegate in DC 47 Local 2186 and is an alternate Shop Steward. She has a Masters in Human Services degree from Lincoln University and is currently taking courses in pursuit of a doctorate degree.

The Pennsylvania House of Representatives adopted a measure authored by state Rep. Leslie Acosta, D-Phila., recognizing March 2016 as National Social Work Month in Pennsylvania.
Acosta noted the Pennsylvania chapter of the National Association of Social Workers counts about 40,000 degreed social workers in the state. In addition, the Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that employment for social workers is expected to grow faster than the average for all occupations through 2018.
