AFSCME President Lee Sanders said:
Together, we spent the last three years making our union stronger. From organizing new members, to better communicating with them, to strengthening our relationships with our allies, we have much to be proud of. But we must do better. We cannot quit. We can never quit. We must take the reforms we have undertaken together – real cultural changes for our union – and make them permanent.
Fredric’s is no more. But we all know the drill: The threat of Friedrichs lurks around every corner. We will be prepared.
